Physical Gait System (PSG)
- The Physical Gait System is a sophisticated non-invasive diagnostic system for digital baropodometry, i.e. it allows the capture of information about the distribution of pressure on the soles of the feet.
- In the production phase, a high-quality fully individual orthopaedic insole is produced on a numerically controlled milling machine.
- The system enables sensing and analysis of pressure conditions on the plantar surface of the foot by static and dynamic methods, examination and evaluation of stability and study of gait morphology.
Baropodometric test
The baropodometric test, in which the load on the feet is evaluated, or a pressure map of the feet is obtained, including a numerical representation of the load at each point, determines how the foot rests on the mat and how the centre of gravity of the body is projected and the weight of the body is distributed. The data are captured on a 1,200 mm long active platform equipped with 4,800 pressure sensors at rest (static test) and in motion (dynamic test).
